The Controversial Killings of Haile Kifer and Nick Brady - A True Crime Story
Today we are talking about one of the more controversial and divisive true crime cases on the channel. On Thanksgiving day, 2012, 2 teenagers named Haile Kifer and Nick Brady broke into the house of Byron David Smith. Smith shot and killed both teenagers in the basement of the house.
Seems cut and dry, but because of the audio taped of the killings and other details surrounding them, the case has been very divisive.

The “taking their clothes off in the woods” thing never happened. That was only for the movie. They did take baths together and sexually experimented a little but it wasn’t a lesbian relationship in the pure sense of the term, as in their encounters they’d take turns pretending one of them was a man ( remember, a heterosexual teen girl being sexually active with boys in the 1950’s was not only unacceptable, it could land her in juvenile hall for “waywardness”.) A good book to read for the actual facts of the Parker-Hulme case is “So Brilliantly Clever” by author Peter Graham. Interesting video, thanks. Correct me please if I’m wrong, but most of your research seems to come from having watched the movie. -?

John Allen Chau was a hero, he was only trying to help the people on Sentinel Island yet these folks were acting barbaric. They should he held accountable at all costs, John Allen Chau DID NOT deserve this, he should be praised as a wonderful hero.

Def team Byron David Smith. An approximate estimation of six to twelve break ins. No police intervention. They stole from him--apparently, they thought their lives were worth the items they took and items they were back to take.

I stumbled on Mac Ray Edwards on Wikipedia. For an unknown serial killer, he's the worst. My opinion. I search his name for 3 days. That first girl 8 years old (at refreshment stand) gets me. Edwards strangled her, throws her tiny body off bridge. The next day Edwards drives back to crime scene, he sees the girl sitting up! hundred yards away from the area Edwards strangled her. He sees her, She was unable to move or speak of course. Edwards finishes her off with his pocket knife. Astronomical. Two other kids Edwards separated in secluded area, after paying the boy 7:00$ to get the girl to follow him in woods. Edwards slits is both they're throats. He probably took his 7:00$ back. That first girl. Should've been found before edwards drove back killed her.. I can't imagine her mother, who was used to her checking in every hour with make sure she was okay? That f"'"*ed her for rest of her life. The kids rooms stay the same, the way they left it. No one goes in their room. Edwards was right when he asked for the chair. Calling them sadistic, for dragging those kids parents re-live death of children. F*"'sick pigs, lawyers.

One of my biggest questions if I could ask Elisabeth is why the fk she never left within that 2 year time span she became more defiant & gaining some level of confidence in herself!?? I can only imagine what the hell she was even thinking or if she was still to afraid to ever try & leave again...absolutely tragic & harrowing regardless & speaks to the total depravity of some people we like to call "human beings" especially the ones closest to us that we should trust the most

The lost tribes are just that lost tribes how they survive n why we allow them to idk in the senetals case while they pose zero legit threat to anyone unless there dumb enough to go to said island. However me personally I see no reason to be keep them around as it's clear no contact will ever be made and given the chance they'd gladly kill us on sight in my opinion as long as they don't get brazzy enough to come to the mainlands they can live in peace tho me personally I can forsee many ways this could bite the world in the ass. Idk just my thoughts I see nothing beneficial for keeping them around idk maybe we'll have all are questions answered when they eventually go extinct I guess but time will tell

Sad.. seems he meant well, but was naive in his proselytism, and understanding more about how these people really were. Some people made it out alive but others didn’t. It’s kind of a miracle these tribes are there.. let them be unless they ask for help, I think.
